I Want To Minister To Someone Who Has A Deep Pain In Their Heart, July 10, 2002
~ Mender of Broken Hearts ~
This may not be a word for all but I really believe the Lord is wanting to minister to some who have DEEP pain in their hearts, if that witnesses to you, I pray you allow the Healer to have His way.
"Yes Child, your heart is breaking. I feel that, I see that. I am the mender of broken hearts and what I mend cannot be broken again, but will become stronger in the broken places. Don't take to heart the slings and barbed arrows flung at you - words that have pierced your heart. I draw those out now in the Spirit - carefully, gently and I cleanse the wounds, I remove the poison on those barbs with My own shed blood and I pour My healing into the depth of those wounds. They sting now but that will fade. The hurt is deep because those barbed arrows penetrated so far that they have re- opened other wounds in your heart that just had bandaids on them. Let Me go deep now - let THIS pain bring something lasting - let it bring DEEP inner healing. Let Me draw out the SORROWS of your life, the PAIN, the SHAME, the FEAR, all the dark things hidden there that you don't want to expose to MY LIGHT. But sweet child, I KNOW they are there. The time has come to give them to Me - utterly, totally, completely give them to Me. I never intended for you to carry them. I have been wanting you to release them and walk in a new freedom, in lasting victory. You often despise yourself My Child and that grieves Me as you are so precious in My sight, and fearfully and wonderfully made. You despise yourself for many things, not the least of which is your inability to live a consistent Christian walk. The mountain peaks are so glorious but you enjoy them so briefly Child. Then your eyes stop focusing on Me, and look at what is happening in the valley, and then suddenly you are down there again and forget to look up.
I have come to bring life and that most abundantly, I have come to destroy the works of the enemy, I have come to bring peace and joy and love to your every day existence. No day need be mundane for My Father wants to give you all things, for this is your inheritance. Walk in it. Right now, I invite you to come under the shelter of Your Father's wing. Nestle in close, He wants to dry your tears, He wants to comfort your soul which is sorrowful nigh unto death. In His eyes, you will find acceptance and a pure unconditional love. He won't condemn you for your failures, but point you in the direction of your successes. Rest in His arms, rest in His perfect blanket of peace, let it billow aound you first and then settle snugly around you, spirit, soul and body. Nothing can harm you there, you will find respite there, a fertile oasis of His love, a time of tranquility, floating above the waves in the storms of your life. Though the tempest blows, you will not be moved for you have retreated to your strong tower, and you will still be standing when all is said and done. I love you with a everlasting love, I will NOT break covenant with you. I watch and I wait to see your heart FULLY turned to Me. This is the day of your salvation, This is the day of your deliverance. Will you receive it?"
